Apostille of documents issued in Japan

Birth, marriage, divorce, police certificates, and other documents issued by public authorities and institutions in Japan do not need to be legalized. However, they must be apostilled from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to be valid in Paraguay.

Verify an Apostille issued in Paraguay

Check the validity of the apostille here. (MOFA PARAGUAY)
Enter the date the apostille was issued and the number written at the bottom of the Bar Code. If the search result says “NO EXISTE NINGUNA INFORMACIÓN” (THERE IS NO INFORMATION), the apostille was not issued in Paraguay.
